Temporary Surcharge on All Orders

With the going volatility across fuel, freight, raw materials, and broader supply-chain inputs continues to place sustained pressure on the cost of goods throughout the packaging and industrial supply industry.

Paperware has worked hard to absorb these increases for as long as possible and will continue to absorb the majority of these additional costs ourselves. However, due to the ongoing scale and frequency of supplier increases, we have had to implement a temporary surcharge arrangement effective from 11th May 2026.

From this date, a temporary 10% supply cost surcharge will apply to all invoices. This surcharge will appear as a separate line item to provide transparency and visibility, rather than permanently increasing the underlying base pricing of individual products.

This decision has been carefully considered, with a strong focus on maintaining the quality, reliability, service, and continuity of supply our customers expect from us. These changes are a direct response to supplier increases currently being experienced across multiple areas of the supply chain, including:

• Freight & Fuel – increases in domestic costs between 30–55%
• Sea Freight – increases between 10–15%
• Raw Materials – purchase price increases between 18–35%
• Finished Goods – supplier price increases between 10–45%

We understand some customers may question why the surcharge applies across all invoices, even where delivery arrangements have not changed. While freight and fuel costs are part of the increase, the surcharge is not solely related to delivery distance. It reflects the broader rise in costs associated with sourcing, manufacturing, importing, warehousing, packaging, and transporting products throughout the supply chain.

To ensure we remain aligned with market conditions and supplier pricing movements, surcharge and pricing levels will continue to be reviewed regularly. We will communicate any confirmed changes with as much notice as possible.
